    I talked to Synology today. They said they are currently using Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 drives (ST31000528AS). Pretty high failure rates with the Seagates...think I would greatly prefer the Samsung F1's mentioned above. Maybe I'll get lucky. :rolleyes:

    Can someone help me out here...the Synology 1010+ 5100 comes with 5 1TB drives, but I don't see anything on this preconfigured setup on Synology's website. What drives come with the 1010+ 5100??? How are they setup (i.e.: RAID 5)??? :confused:
