    RT-N66U 2.4Ghz drops, but clients can't reconnect

    No problems here on both bands on my N66U. I'm on Merlin's 380.59 using N only and fixed channels. On newer firmware I did have those 5GHz problems so that is a no go for me. I like to play online games so stability is a must!

    Happened to me too. And after I restarted my router the 5G appeared minutes later than the 2.4G band. Changing the channel fixed it for me! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

    QoS: only bandwidth limiter has effect

    I have a N66u and use Merlin's 280.59. For me capping at 80% did wonders! Before I was hassling with the bandwidth limiter but the results were mixed. Bufferbloat went from F to B (or C) but the speed dropped to like 80 Mb/s, sometimes even lower (My ISP connection is: 150/15). I like to play...
