Now everything is working! Thanks for the quick update:)

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

I have done that and updated to 4.0.3, the postconf file has not been changed/deleted. However when I apply the script manually there is the following error: YazFi: wl1.1 (SSID: xxxxxxxx) - sending all interface internet traffic over WAN interface sed: unsupported command Y YazFi: Forcing YazFi...

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

I think the Avahi reflector is enabled regardless of the two/one-way traffic options. A quick fix for now, which might have to be reapplied after the next update, is to edit /jffs/scripts/avahi-daemon.postconf and change the "enable-reflector=yes" to "enable-reflector=no". After a reboot the...

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

Hi, is there any possibility to add an option to disable the Avahi-reflector which was added in 4.0.2 to the config file? I do not need the mdns forwarding, but noticed that most of my Apple devices hostnames would change over time by adding a number to the end of the hostname which is...

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

But even after I start YazFi freshly a lock file gets generated. EDIT: 30 seconds to late:rolleyes:

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

So to reproduce the issue again I launched YazFi from amtm, hit u, the MD5 hash was different, so it said it would update. Then I think the script crashes since I see the amtm screen again. Now if I press 4 to go back into YazFi and then press 1 to apply YazFi settings, this pops up: YazFi: Lock...

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

Hi Jack, I just updated YazFi today through amtm and saw that YazFi would not perform various actions, because of a lock file which was still present. I manually deleted said file in /tmp and thought the issue would be resolved. But again I got a red message which told me there was a lock file...

amtm amtm - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

This did the trick, thank you very much! But when I reinstalled it printed out: amtm: exec: line 821: /jffs/scripts/amtm: not found So I had to run it once and now everything is back to normal!:)

amtm amtm - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

It is really weird it just does not want to find amtm now, whereas before it worked flawlessly. Is there any file/folder in /opt where I could check wether the reference for amtm exists?

amtm amtm - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

Thanks for the quick replies! I logged out and nothing changed after logging back in. Should I create the file profile.add manually in configs then? Edit: since the file is not present in configs

amtm amtm - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

I updated the old 3.1 to the new 3.1, but I still cannot open amtm by just typing it into terminal (see amtm - the SNBForum Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu) Any suggestions?

amtm amtm - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

I was able to successfully update to 3.1.0 about 20 mins ago and now when I enter amtm into terminal it displays: -sh: amtm: not found When I start it manually in /jffs/scripts and enter u it offers me to "update" to 3.0 (probably because you pulled 3.1). Is it safe to downgrade or should I just...

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

Hi Jack, I've been using your script since you released it and it helped me a lot organizing my Wifi-Devices! Recently I discovered that even with all parameters set to the strictest setting, I was able to ping my router at 192.168.1.1 from the isolated guest network (192.168.10.x) and...

How to set a static IP to OpenVPN TUN clients

@Martineau One thing I want to add is that there is no need for a script to distinguish between clients. You can just add "username-as-common-name" to the server config file and usernames will automatically be recognized as common names.

OVPN Server-Provided routes with policy-based (strict) routing

Thank you @RMerlin! I now solved it via customizing the openvpn-event script by adding the routes manually there.

OVPN Server-Provided routes with policy-based (strict) routing

Or put differently: Is there any option to have the OVPN route initialization independent of the policy-based routing?

OVPN Server-Provided routes with policy-based (strict) routing

I forgot to mention this, but even without "strict" the routes won't show up in the routing table and I cannot ping the subnets.

OVPN Server-Provided routes with policy-based (strict) routing

Hello everyone, I have an OVPN server which pushes routes to local subnets via "route 192.168.x.0 255.255.255.0" when a client connects. Now I've set up my 86U as a client and it accepts the routes (they show up in the routing table). Now I wanted to start policy based routing (strict) again...

YazFi YazFi - enhanced AsusWRT-Merlin Guest WiFi inc. SSID <-> VPN Client

Thank you for all the effort you put into developing this script :). You can add the RT-AC56U to the list - it has been running smoothly on there for the past couple of weeks with no issues at all. Keep up the great work, I am personally looking forward to LAN access.
