    1st Router Purchase - Need Advice

    How are you liking the ESR9850? I'm on the verge of buying one myself to put next to the TV and give a) wired connections to a TiVo, AppleTV, and Xbox; and b) give WiFi to the family's laptops and smartphones. Like you, I'm also considering the ASUS RT-N13U and the D-Link DIR-655.

    New twist: Verizon just provided me with a new ActionTec MI424-WR. Maybe I should just run a long cable from the ONT to my living room and let the ActionTec do everything. Does anyone know anything about it? Also, I just saw the D-Link DIR-655 for $71. So now that's an option too. 170+...
