    HD for a DS411j.

    I wanted to buy two WD 2TB AV-GP WD20EVDS drives but I having issues getting them online so I might go for two WD 1TB AV-GP WD10EVDS drives instead. The 1TB version is not on the Synology compatibly list but the 2TB version is. Does anyone know if the 1TB has any issues?

    First NAS setup advice.

    Sweet, streaming full HD should be a painless enough. I think I will go ahead buy the equipment and see how it all goes, unless there is any reason you could give me not too. ;) Thanks for your help it’s genuinely appreciated.

    I’m using the powerline to connect all the devices to the internet as the phoneline/router is in a different room. Now this is where it gets a bit confusing for me, the NAS and TV will be on the switch but the switch will be connected to the powerline which will be connected to the router...
