    [Help] Topology

apologies, yeah i forgot about that WAN speed is 800 up/down ASUS is gigabit Device on 10GB network are seedboxes and NASes which also syncs data on the cloud but the most important here is the 10gb LAN speed because they backup data to another NAS on the same network and the device on the 2.5G...

Which is the "proper" network setup

Sorry for the lack of context guys and thanks for the very helpful insights, the main reason i want to plug the modem to merlin is i want to take advantage of the 2.5gb switch that i have and the Merlin only has one 2.5gb that i want to plug in to the switch...

    RT-AX89X Firmware development lag

yeah how unfortunate what a good router bottlenecked by bad software implementation, a good dev would have made that router a beast considering its pro-sumer nature.

    RT-AX89X Firmware development lag

Until now i am still hoping and wishing that Merlin support ax-89x due to asus not addressing the current problems with it and thus alot of other users returning/exchanging it for other models due to the poor firmware implementation.

amtm is amtm installable via entware // Asus-WRT

Thank you, how about vntat with GUI can it be installed through entware? yes this is exactly what i meant, but does it have a GUI as the one in the Merlin? its okay as long as i dont need to agree to the Trend Micro crap agreement.

amtm is amtm installable via entware // Asus-WRT

Hi can amtm be installed on regular asus wrt firmware via entware? or the vnet stat atleast, unfurtunately my router is an ax89x and merlin does not support it. i just need the vnetstat which is a very great help because the built in traffic analyzer is not that good.
