    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.40 Beta 2 is available

Blinking Exclamation mark Thanx to you Merlin for an excellent uplift to the standard code. Im now running your 40. Beta 1 on my AC68R. The exclamation mark keeps blinking - even though i have disabled FTP and doesn't have any media connected for sharing to my router. Is this normal...

Looking for a stable wireless router for network with 20+ clients

Well.. for what it's worth i'm running a Asus RT-AC66U with 28 clients on average. And as a "Home Router" i find it very stable and very well performing. I'm running Firmware:3.0.0.4.372.30_2 (Merlin build) on it. A mix of clients. using 2.4 as the junk band and the 5GHz for 802.11n only. (no...

    Development update

Great Job! - you have made my N66U a great experience. Feature request: Is there a chance to configure the WAN connection to flip to ie. USB/3G based on a pingable IP address? - My problem is that my router is connected to a bridge from my ISP and even though it has lost connection to the...

    RT N66U firm. 3.0.0.3_151

QoS still in the woods .151 When i set the QoS to 10Mb upstream it also affects my Lan to Lan traffic. So unless i have misunderstood the purpose of the QoS it's still not working as expected. I expect it to only affect the WAN connection. Br, Harvad

    RT N66U firm. 3.0.0.3_151

.151 is fast I can second that. with .151 @2.4GHz i get aprox 80Mb download tested with Speedtest.net and @5GHz i get aprox 100Mb download tested with Speedtest.net Ping times seems to be overall a little better too. My 5GHz is cleaner than my 2.4GHz So far this is a better experience than...

    FW_RT_N66U_B1_3003144 Released!

Performance issue on .144 I see the same low performance on .144 compared to .112 My broadband is a 100Mbps and i get max 40Mbps on the 5GHz radio in a relatively clean RF environment with .144 (settings are 802.11n only at fixed 40MHz) I could easily max it at 100Mbps with the .112 -...

    FW_RT_N66U_B1_3003144 Released!

.144 not available anymore Seems ASUS have taken the .144 off their site. Just received a new n66u today (the first one died) - it came with the .112 loaded and "says" there is a new version available - does something for 3 mins abd then reboot with .112 still on the system. Checked the...

    SONOS Sound System breaks RT-N66U

Mine is still FUBAR - I have to disconnect my SONOS - and reboot the system when i want to make changes to the config. A little cumbersome - but works for now - normally i don't mess with the config that much. So I guess i will live with it until ASUS gets time to fix it. Apart from the...

    SONOS Sound System breaks RT-N66U

@rickms80 Fully agree with you on the intended functionality of SONOS - but I'm referring to the SONOS bridge, i need the bridge to reach my most distant players and i happen to have a switch in the same closet ;o) so that is why i'm using a "bridge" Yesterday i tried to skip the bridge and...

    SONOS Sound System breaks RT-N66U

Sonos Bridge breaks the GUI I have exactly the same issue. Im running .108 but also had the issue with .102 I have raised a ticket with ASUS support. I wondering if this is a general "Bridge" issue. I have ordered a TEW-680M bridge and will check if that one breaks the GUI too Br,
