Must be a regression since it was working a few release back. I'll take a look during the week to see if I can reproduce it.
Yes, it's still working up to alpha 4.

I'd be surprised if the problem had been fixed since Beta1 uses all the latest code from Asus's 4561 which was exhibiting the issue, but still keep us informed how it turns out, just in case Hell hath frozen over.
I am pretty confident that its not intermittent. I have spent many hours trouble shooting this. I can guarantee you that this the only RMerlin f/w that allowed a "client status" refresh on my setup. All asus f/w up to 3.0.0.4.374.4422 would also allow a "client status refresh" but any version after and including 3.0.0.4.374.4422 would not.
Correction!!! RMerlin is correct again I just performed router reboot and I am NO longer able to refresh the client list. but what I did notice is the little icon beside the the windows home server 2011 client has been a man in suit (other device)since reboot it is a pc with a remote (PC). This is the only reboot I have done since I upgraded to 374.40_beta1 17 hours ago. I have been fine tuning settings/features and have refreshed client all day long. The pc running windows server 2011 has been left as is, along with all other clients. I even reset router using reset button and GUI reset and restored my save settings half way through the day and still functioned properly. The client list refreshed without fail until the router reboot. I just don't understand!

Oki, I have now gone back to .39 and it is a big difference. on my desktop compyter 10 meter away the signal quality goes from 60 to 100 percent same with sgs3 on same position. If i go to my ground floor in my building i get a signal quality increase by 5.
In dbm measures i go from -65 (.40beta1) to -43 (.39) 10 meters away from router.
There is defenetly somthing with the driver between .40beta1 and .39.
I hope you can make a beta of .40 with the driver from .39.
All other features that i use in .40 seems stable.
Still, big thanks and if there is any details you need please Contact me.
Router in use AC66U.
infamy, are you doing a proper and full reset (both router and clients) between versions?
Router:
Remove all USB devices, remove all but the WAN and Ethernet cable going to the laptop or computer that will be doing the setup.
Flash/upgrade the firmware to test.
Clear nvram. Do a manual power cycle (do not reboot via the gui).
Manually enter any settings required. Do not use a saved config file.
Test.
This is a known issue in Asus's code. I think it was posted a couple of times already, but here is it again:
Go to the FTP page, enable sharing without an account, and switch back to sharing with an account. That will force the flag to be cleared.
Send me a PM with the content of the following file:
Code:/var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases
I want to see if there's anything in that file that might cause Networkmap to get stuck.
Can someone explain how this done?
Thanks
cat /var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases
Thanx to you Merlin for an excellent uplift to the standard code.
Im now running your 40. Beta 1 on my AC68R.
The exclamation mark keeps blinking - even though i have disabled FTP and doesn't have any media connected for sharing to my router.
Is this normal behavior?
is there anything I can do to make my usb3 drive mount wihtout having to pull it out the usb port and shove it back in ?
any kind of reboot and I can kiss it goodbye until i replug it.
