    BCM4916 process node?

4 or 8 should not make a different. I just wanted to make sure to load all cores. I don't know. Maybe they manually uploaded the binary.

    BCM4916 process node?

I am not too surprised. I do think that the jump to a newer process node makes a difference and should both reduce power consumption and heat generation. I think the AX88U Pro also comes with a smaller power supply as a result vs the AX88U (non-pro). The 200Mhz difference between the BCM4908 and...

    BCM4916 process node?

I have RT-AX88U Pro (BCM4912) with the stock firmware. It seems to be running pretty cool. `/sys/devices/virtual/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp` says 55C (ambient is 20C). The stock firmware has the `stress` utility build-in. I tried to run for 5 minutes with 8 threads to load the cpu (`stress cpu...

Slow speed from AX210 to Asus RT88U Pro

I am aware of this and I am not complaining about the multi-threaded iperf3 performance. I was just surprised of the difference between my phone's (and linux's) single threaded and windows' single threaded performance. Anyway, you did point me to the right direction. I was using an outdated...

Slow speed from AX210 to Asus RT88U Pro

Hello! I updated the driver and the results did not change. However, I did narrow down the problem to... Windows! I booted my laptop with a Linux live image and I can get 1.3Gbps single thread and 1.7Gbps multithread. Now the question is: why is the Windows single thread perf so low?

Slow speed from AX210 to Asus RT88U Pro

This is my first post. Hello! I have been pretty puzzled by the speed I am able to get from from Intel AX210 devices connected to an Asus RT-A88U Pro on the Wi-Fi 6 on 5Ghz band To make the story short. I have a small server with 2.5Ghz wired connection to the Asus Router. The server is running...
