Everytime my amazon firestick gets powered on, it kills the AC5300 router internet connectivity, dropping it to three lights Am presently connecting through wireless as that is the only option. This is the gen3 1080 HD firestick. Never seen a device that is not physically attached to the router kill the router functionality. Router will ultimately reconnect the die again in a few minutes. Even tried isolating the firestick to the guest channel but still has same issue.

Any clues in the Log?

What do you mean dropping it to three lights? What lights

You could reset the Firestick to default to start from scratch and eliminate it as an issue.

It drops the wan and wifi networks, the last two of the 5 lights. Reverted to Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 and it seems stable. Must be some bugs in the 386_1 and 386_2 firmware sets.
