160Mhz in Bridge Mode on R7800?

I was curious if anyone knows or can let me know if 160Mhz is supported or works in Bridge mode for the R7800. I'm getting into a new router that will supposedly have 160Mhz support. I was hoping to test this out with the R7800 acting as a Client in Bridge mode. I have this and a XR450 which seem to support HT160. These being the only items I have that support 160Mhz.

I had v62 FW installed, however I just installed Voxels v64SF to be more current. I do see Enable HT160 in the UI and it's selectable in bridge mode.

You should be okay afaik. That is how the newest routers are tested when there are no clients available as they are first introduced.

Wont really make difference on the R7800/XR500/X450 (effectively all are the same model internal) because of two things:

1. In HT 160 mode the R7800 operates as a 2x2 unit when dealing with HT160 clients, so max theoretical speeds are no different than 4x4 at HT80.
2. You are limited by gigabit ethernet so you wont hit more than 960 or so Mbps.

HT160 is more of a benefit to 2x2 client cards like the Intel 9260ac when dealing with the R7800. When connecting two R7800's together via HT160 or the R7800 to a full 4x4 HT160 ie RAX80 router you wont really see any real gain.

Only way to beat the Ethernet limit is to do WiFi transfers to a USB3 device connected to the router.

For regular use leave it at HT80 for greater stability, and less chances of interference.

On my Dell Inspiron 7577 with a 9260ac on HT160 gives me ~930-940 Mbps in LAN tests to a NAS vs ~630-640 Mbps on HT80. However connection does on occasion get disrupted in HT160 mode.

Ya I know 160 is limited to either routers that support it or some wifi adapters that support it. Not really concerned with adapters right now. I'm going to be testing a router that supports 160Mhz and the only device I have that I know of is the R7800 that may work as a client and i'm hoping to use that as the 160 client test. Was curious if when in Bridge mode, and having the HT160 enabled on it, is this feature actually being used in Bridge mode. I'll have to give this a try and see what I find out.

The Limit of the LAN is a given. I get around 900Mb with my wired NAS. LAN to LAN testing.

I'll look in to a actual 160 supporting wireless adapter at some point.

Ok, I can confirm that the R7800 does support or at least it seems to support 160Mhz in Bridge mode. I have 160Mhz enabled on the main host router and I had to load Kamoj's R7800 Info Add-On to the R7800 to tell if the R7800 was connected and it's connection rate:

I connected the R7800 to a non 160Mhz supporting wifi router and this is it's it's connection rate reported by the R7800:

Will do more testing over the weekend.

Does it possible to do fast lane like in two r7800 bridging in ac1733 and serving clients in 2.4 600/800 Mbps and all lan 1gbps

I don't have the R7800 set up for bridge mode anymore. Been using it as a host router with Entware installed. Max speeds will be near or on 900-1000Mpbs since the LAN ports are limited by 1000Mbps. The 1733MPbs is just the connection rate between the R7800s Wifi radio and a wifi source that supports AC and 160Mhz on 5Ghz is all.
