Hi Guys,

I just replaced my RT-AC86U Aimesh combo by RT-AX-11000 (1 main router + 1 aimesh node).
I want to be sure, for my own case, setup is as best as possible.
Thanks for your assistance, expertise, suggestions. Greatly appreciate !!

I'm located here in Europe. My main router is in the living room, Aimesh node is upstairs.
I have serval devices (30-40) connected to my wifi.

1st : WIFI setup (bandwidth /channels 2.4 Ghz, 5-1 Ghz, 5-2 Ghz (backhaul).

2.4 Ghz:

Current Channel : 6
Current Channel BandWidth : 20 MHz
Current Available Capacity : 75%

Is your node connected wirelessly to your router? On 5G-2, channels 149-161 might have a higher transmit power and might improve the RSSI on the backhaul link between your router and node.

Never mind, just checked and the max transmit power is better on 100-140 in Europe according to this link.

Ok will try this.
Regarding OFDMA, which on is the best ? Thx

I leave the default settings unless I research and decide to change and test a setting... one at a time. Given my residential network usage, I tend to not be too concerned with non-default settings intended to aid much busier networks than mine.

Here below result after the setting is done.
Regarding Aimesh Backhaul (5-2 Ghz band) is it acceptable ?

RSSI : -60 to -63 dBm
noise: -88 dBm Channel: 112/160

Is it possible to improve performances without physically moving Aimesh node ?
Thx
