Don't know but according to this thread seems it works with latest
Merlin build for other but not for me I use dual wan, SDcard, big USBdisc, other APN, NONEhilink.

jus reading the changelog but can not see any changes regarding the 3G/LTE Huawei Sticks. so the commands are working now and are included in the build ?
No the "self-made" script works and the firmware seems to be fine.
