Adaptive QoS upload does not limit (download limits just fine)
Wifi 6/ax mode does not enable and disable unless you enable it during the setup. It indicates enabled but the moment you click to another tab and back it still shows disabled
Is that adaptive QoS error on wifi only or wired also?

Wireless. Will test wired out shortly

Edit: Wireless limits only on the download but not the upload. Wired does limit on the download and the upload

The title of this topic includes “Testing all variants”, but currently “all” means “a single” variant (AX88U), right?

I head it was only an issue on the new sdk that Merlin is not using odd.

Moved from 384.14 Beta3 to 384.15 Alpha on the RT-AX88U (back hauled to 2x RT-86U's at 384.14). All running without errror. Noticed in the AX88U Syslog these looping messages, which I didn't have before this conversion. Anything to act on, or ignore as what is somewhat usual for the syslog?

Hey people anyone have information about why I may be seeing this in my log?
Code:
Dec 22 13:54:47 rc_service: watchdog 1325:notify_rc stop_aae
Dec 22 13:54:47 rc_service: watchdog 1325:notify_rc start_mastiff
Dec 22 13:54:47 rc_service: waitting "stop_aae" via watchdog ...
Dec 22 13:54:47 NAT_Tunnel: AAE Service is stopped
Dec 22 13:54:47 NAT_Tunnel: AAE Service is stopped
Dec 22 13:54:48 NAT_Tunnel: AAE Service is stopped
Dec 22 13:54:48 AAE: AAE Service is started
Dec 22 13:54:48 Mastiff: init

EDIT: Found the answer here.

Try tools>other settings>disable asusnat tunnel = yes?
Something I’ve always done & I never see that stuff in my log. YMMV. o_O

Hey, all you self-compilers, are you having trouble compiling 384.15_a1?

I'm getting this error...

make[3]: Entering directory '/home/;)/amng/release/src/router'
Makefile:4115: *** missing separator. Stop.
make[3]: Leaving directory '/home/;)/amng/release/src/router'
make[2]: *** [Makefile:4469: setprofile] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/;)/amng/release/src-rt-5.02hnd'
make[1]: *** [Makefile:4293: bin] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/;)/amng/release/src-rt-5.02hnd'
make: *** [Makefile:4439: rt-ac86u] Error 2

Now its fine. Compiles successfully . Thanks Merlin

I couldn't figure out why the working directory and the non-working directory refused to synchronize via rsync. So I chucked the working directory and re-rsync'd the directory. It's compiling fine. I had to do some git fixes to the non-working directory though.

Thanks, @RMerlin !

There is still a problem with the self-compiling git. Says some files missing. First it compiled 1/3 through and quit. Fixed some git issues and recompiled 2/3 through.
