3rd Party Firmware for Orbi RBK850?

Anyone hear of a solid 3rd party firmware to flash to my Netgear Orbi RBK852? Stock seems to have decent stability but it feels like it’s not being pushed to its performance limits.

I have not found anything yet. The two most promising possibilities (imo) would be OpenWRT or DD-WRT. There's a thread for each:

Both communities seem to be waiting on a hardware donation in order to move forward, but I haven't seen any other updates.
