I'm considering buying a NAS box for home use. It would mainly be used for storing video and music files for streaming to my PC.
The 409 and 509 both look excellent, and from the charts I can see that the 509 performs better than the 409. However, considering that at most there would be 2 users accessing the files (only 1 most of the time) and taking into account what I would be using it for, is the 509 really worth the extra £160? What advantages would the 509 have (apart from the obvious extra disc) that the 409 doesnt?
