5G disabled, merlin .4.270...?

Hi

Had RT-AC66U running for a few days, went with M build 3.0.0.4.270.26.

Have been setting it up, using WiFi analyzer on android for best channels, etc.

Noticed 5g wasn't showing in analyzer, went to web gui and it says disabled.

Been all over settings pages, how do you "enable" it

Wireless > Professional:
Frequency = 5GHz
Enable Radio = Yes

Did that already, but just tried again,

when I hover over wifi symbol, it still shows disabled...maybe apply again and reboot/

The other day i was in a hurry, searched site and found a link to Merlins FW.

Can you point me in the right direction to most current?

Never mind, found it.

Duh, I grabbed 1st file from top, getting latest now.

make sure you do a factory reset without restoring a backup with a big version jump.

No, he's saying after you install the new firmware reset it to the factory default settings. Then re-enter your changes from scratch. Do not restore your settings from any backup you took whilst on the older firmware.
