Feature Request: Please consider adding an option to "follow" only the sites that are blocked. Something like the following:

tail -F $installDirPath/logs/dnsmasq.log | grep 0.0.0.0
​

This might help in trying to determine white list entries for certain problematic sites. For example, navigating to cbs.com and attempting to launch a video generates (pretty scary how many sites are accessed, but I'm guessing that only a subset would be necessary to access the video):

i removed all old content of beta version and reboot router....then i install the new version and i think it is all ok.....do i need put this in terminal too? i didn`t yet?

This is a good idea. Running And updating the Script in the USB, so no wearing out of the router's Flash Happen!

This is going to be a automated feature for the next version. Including a symlink back to /home/root if so desired.
Also I try to restore the contents of .ash_history as well after a reboot.

If it says AB-Solution 1.0 then you run the latest version.
If unsure, activate both logging and ad-blocking. Then post the contents of /etc/dnsmasq.conf.

This is something I want to check during the install as well, but just had not the time to do it.

Can you post a screenshot of what settings you made so I can recreate it for my tests with my VPN provider?
I can then implement the findings in one of the next versions.

I am talking about open vpn server....i set respond to DNS to yes and advertise DNS to clients to yes....then i put in costum configuration two DNS server IP from my ISP and still do not working....

Can you toggle either Adblocking or logging on or off and back to what it was. This will regenerate the AB-Solution settings file and fill it with the latest data.
I am interested in what the config file entries are under the heading 'Backup settings (not used yet)'

The log says clearly that more is expected:

ok, this is not realy important....i was just testing but i didn`t get connection outside of my network.....but i realy like to know what can i do to block ads if i connect over openvpn outside of my network...if i connected in my local network then is all ok....no ads on pc or phone....
