Hey guys!, im super excited,i finally got my AC88U to connect to the internet, albeit, WAN port is defined as port 4. Wan PORT shows up as eth0. anyone else have a similar issue? normally i would not care, but im having some issues with Wiresless and DHCP(guest networks work fine!!) and this is the only other thing thats out of place.

is this something i can modify by changing some NVRAM entries? anyone else run into something similar?

i used tool-system to ID the WAN port, i tried every port on the back and the one that seems to be mapped WAN2 is ETH4

Plug your internet connection into the WAN port.

Reset your router to factory defaults, flash the most recent firmware, then reset to factory defaults again.

that fixed it. upon reboot after second flash the NICs were placed properly and the WAN connection is the wan connection .
