ac2900 2.4ghz speed

Just upgraded and set up router. I've done tests and speed is halve 120mbps vs 60mbps. Old router is an asus ac1900 so not sure what's going on. All settings are the same and location hasn't moved. The 5ghz speed is the same on both around 175mbps. I'm running the newest merlin on each. Kinna odd the slower 2.4ghz.

If you are using 40 MHz or Auto bandwidth, your new router may be properly switching to 20 MHz bandwidth due to neighbor networks.

You can try switching to a different channel, but it may not help because the 2.4 GHz band is so crowded.
