Hi,

I have bought an AC66U recently replacing my old WRT54G. I have some PCs in my Intranet and one of them configured for WOL. The WOL worked with the WRT54G perfectly for years. I have set up port forwarding and manually assigned MAC address of the given PC on the AC66U but WOL works stochastically. It sometimes works sometimes don't. One interesting behaviour is that after using the built-in WOL function of the router then port-forwarded WOL also works for a certain time (like 3 hours) but after that stops working again. (However I like the built-in WOL function I don't want to enable router admin configuration outside for security reasons). The FW is Merlin 378.55. Do you have any idea?
 
It seems that I found something accidentally. Yesterday I had problem with the port forwarding function of the router (not the WOL ports (7,9) some others). I was quite upset about it and tried many options on the administration page including the AiCloud options (Cloud Disk, Smart access). After switching off both AiCloud options port forwarding issue resolved and WOL issues (which also requires port forwarding) resolved as well.
I don't have any idea what is the relation between AiCloud and port forwarding but the problems seems to be solved so far.
