AC66U DLNA, FTP issue!

Firmware: ASUS RT-AC66U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.376.3602
USB: external hdd
Issue: After update to firmware 3602 I still can see and play old media files, but I can't see new added media files.

I found many people have the same issue with me.
I did many things to solve this issue.
Finally I checked the files with FTP connection(filezilla) and I found the differences.
I can play all of 'owner/group 0 0'.
But I can't even see the files(new added files) 'owner/group 1 1' on DLNA.

I attached a screen shot.

I tried to create new files and new folders with FTP, but it still makes only 'owner/group 1 1'. The uploading files are the same.

I have not tried ASUS RT-AC66U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.376.3626 yet.(I'm staying at the somewhere else right now.)
I'm not sure 3626 can solve this problem.
I don't understand why ASUS doesn't fix this issue?
Anybody knows about this issue?

Yes, and I also know the reason and how to work around the issue - did so in my firmware.

SOLVED!
IGNORE the flashing firmware update ! I updated my firmware and lost half of all the good features on my AC66...after many tricks I finally found the correct fir mare version to get You DLNA server back.

And you kept all the security problems discovered since then!!!


If you want to stay with 3.0.0.4.374, please consider John's version which is based on Asus's 374_5656 but he has added all the security fixes since then.
