New Around Here
Hi guys,

I've been having this issue on and off over 2 weeks now, gone through most of the settings I could find on the router and tried restore to factory default settings but the problem persists..
It usually happens when not many users are on using the network.
It causes issues due to IP changes and we have subscriptions that end up having to keep logging in to update the IP.

Thank you for any advice or suggestions offered on the matter.

I think you will find that most of us here use rmerlin firmware or john's fork of the rmerlin firmware.
Might want to try it.

Thanks for the suggestion Pierino. I tried to upgrade the firmware via administration page but got the below error instead (attached screenshot).. Merlin - RT-AC68U_380.67_0
I followed the instructions found here : https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki/Installation
I even tried downloading the latest ASUS firmware from the website to upgrade and got the same error..

Strange. Hopefully someone can chime in. I was going to ask if you unzipped the file but I see the .trx ending so it looks like you did.
