AC68U [378.52]: LAN -> NAS

New Around Here
Dear Forum,

I'll try to find out the fastest way to copy data to my NAS (NTFS-HDD). I tried with FTP and got with latest FW around 20MB/s.
The other alternative I tried is just to copy data in the Windows Explorer where I can see the NAS as Multimedia device. But I am only able to copy data from NAS to LAN (around 25MB/s), not the other way from LAN to NAS.
Also I am not able to map the IP as a network drive. It always fails.
FTP, DLNA, CTF enabled, USB3.0 device, short CAT5 cable, Windows 8.1, all drivers installed

What can I try to manage it and also get more speed?
I am a beginner, sorry for that "easy" question! ;)

Thank you for help!

If your router supports static DNS entries you can create one for your NAS. Then you will be able to access your NAS by name.

Thanks for your hint.
In Advanced Settings LAN settings I have a default Gateway and DNS Server Address which I also configured in my Windows LAN settings.
The Router is behind another Internet DSL Router. The Asus has there a static IP. The NAS Name already showed up in the Explorer.
