Hi to all

I bought an ac86u, I installed the latest version of original firmware without any problem.
So afterwards I installed the latest rmerlin version (384.9 for ac86U), with no problem.
I have configured the jffs block (formatting and execution of scripts), after a reboot I have loaded a script that I used on my old Asus router.
I had always found the script on this site and it's called: block-ip-ranges-with-vpn.sh
With the old router the script worked perfectly, but now during the execution it gives me this error: /usr/sbin/nvram: not found.
In fact the nvram directory (in /usr/sbin) I do not see it
Where am I doing wrong ?

Thanks for the help.

Just checked, I think nvram is now in
Code:
/bin/nvram

Hi
Thanks, I see a file named nvram. Also I should change the path in the script ?

Did you do a factory default reset after flashing 384.9? It is recommended to do so coming from stock Asus firmware.

No :( I haven’t think to this

Hi
Thanks for the help. I reset the router and create a new configuration, but to make the script work I had to change the location of the nvram file (/usr/sbin is no longer used). So this problem is solved.
I take this opportunity for others two problems:
1) Divergent (last version) installed it seems that the blacklist does not work. I entered a domain (ex: xbmc-italia.it) but it is not blocked. Again with the old modem I had no problems.
2) The list of connected devices (that appears on the right side of the web gui) is blocked on the third page (the refresh does not finish) and also not all the connected devices appear (this in both the display modes of the connected devices)
Any suggestions ?

Thanks to all

1) did you process lists to apply the changes to your blacklist?
2) I don’t know works for me

Hi
This is the problem in the list

1) Do you mean Diversion? ;)

2) That is a known issue. Asus needs to fix that themselves (closed source blob and all).

Hi
Diversion... my opinion is : one of the two applications to be installed by default (other is YazFi)

.@FreshJR's QoS script is also worthy of your attention, especially if you're using the Guest networks heavily; in fact, all of the stuff listed in .@L&LD's signature will be a big help...especially since you're using the flagship Asus router

Thanks, I follow your suggestion. For Diversion problem .... solved with a reinstall.

Thanks to all, and a special compliment to rmerlin for the software
