Finally, with the command:

tune2fs -L "LabelYouWant" /dev/XXX
Where XXX is the actual name of the partition given by the router. So, I renamed the partition and then re-installed Entware. Now even after reboot the router has references for Entware to the partition label I gave and everything is fine. Thanks to everyone! Hope this will help people in the same situation!

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to install Transmission via Telnet with the following guide:

https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki/Installing-Transmission-through-Entware

First step is installing Entware, and I'm doing so following the link here:

https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki/Entware#the-easy-way

I'm trying "The easy way" on that page, but, as soon as I launch the bash command this is what I get, an error:View attachment 11101
I tried several times, and before every next try I used the command "rm -rf entware" to delete the folder created by the bash command, even if it gives that error. Any idea?
Thanks

Your problem is, you traing to install on a RTAC86U Entware, and only support Optware, kernel is 64 architecture, only RTAC68U works fine with Entware. Try Optware

Sorry but no. Not only have you replied to an old thread, but what you have posted is incorrect. Optware is no longer supported, and Entware most definitely runs on the 86U (and other armv8/aarch64 routers like the AX88U)
