New Around Here
I resently bought a ac86u (i previously have had a ac66n_b and a ac68n) but i have had quite some problems with it.

First it was the wan port. It did not accept my 100 mbit setup from the fiber box. I had to change the wiring and upgrade to a 1000mbit setup. Irritating but it worked.

Second and more irritating is that its very unstabel on the lan side. I constantly disconnects my lan or at least i thing that's whats going on. I have a couple of dlan 1200+ and they keep disappearing from my cockpit software thats monitoring there performances. I have now changed back to my old router ac68u an the problems have gone away.

Any idea what im dealing with or how i do some more testing to narrow down the problem?

Update

I have now done some more testing and seems like it has something to do with the Aimesh.
I initialized the router and startet al over. Did some testing without Aimesh but the moment I setup Aimesh the Devolo 1200+ stoped appearing on the Cockpit screen. If I reboot they appear for 30 to 60 sek. And disapears again.
I then took of the Aimesh node off and the devolo is on the screen again.

I suspect that this is what is going on but I have no clue to why this only happins on my AC86U and not on AC68U or AC66U_b1.

Any ideas to whats going on here?

Does not seem like any one is interested in this thread but any way here is my findings.

Every time the WDS register's the Aimesh node the devolo units disappears from the screen.
I have now setup the node for Ethernet backhaul and then rebooted the router so that the WDS does not go through with is register. This works but I guess it only works until a drop in the Lan will activate the WDS registration of the Aimesh node. Is there any way I can force the WDS not to activate so that it is stuck to Lan no matter what?

So, you have some powerline adapters you monitor with a Cockpit program that does not work as before when using AiMesh? Are the remote LAN clients still working, or is it just the Cockpit program that is not working? Is the AiMesh backhaul wired through powerline adapters?

OE

I'm unsure if the Lan client are stable but certainly the Aimesh node became unstable, which is backhaul wired through powerline adapter.

I have had tested it all day (without the WDS registartion) and it is stable and showing on the Cockpit software.
