New Around Here
Hi
I bought a ac87u and flashed Merlin right after I tested it.
I'm currently have no AC wifi device yet, but I'm getting a new laptop.
I used macbook pro (wifi n) to copy 30GB file from Synology 412+ over 5G wifi. Speed was great, It could get 35-38MBps.
However, during file transfer (abt. 5min), it disconnect and hang. I had reboot it to start again. but there was no problem when I plug in a usb fan.
I'm in the UK and temperature is about 10-15c. When it hang the temperature of 5G is 62C and CPU is 76C
anyone have this issue?

Those temps sound about right for me. With my 87U at idle here in Edinburgh (22C ambient) I see 44C, 70C, 78C for the 2.4GHz, 5Ghz and CPU sensors.

My 87U is flat on the desk rather than wall mounted but you could try elevating it a little. When I had my previous N66U I stood it on 4 little blocks to raise it 1cm from the desk for airflow.

Those temps are inside the usual limits for RT-AC87U. I doubt they have anything to do.
¿Does it happen always/frequently or just happened one time?
