AC87U - HDD turns itself on

Thorton

Using 380.62 (didn't upgrade to .63 because of so many complaints about this version in the forum). I have external HDD attached via USB3. Running DLNA, Torrent (Transmission) and VPN clients on the router. Disk is configured to turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity, which it does perfectly.

However, I noticed that very often (every few hours or so) disk turns itself on and then goes off again after 15 minutes. This happens even when no clients are connected to the router (PC is turned off, TV is turned off).

Transmission doesn't serve any torrents (it's just installed on the router), and when disk turns itself on, its LED light doesn't blink (so it's not reading/writing any data). And, as you would expect, it turns itself off within next 15 minutes (which just confirms the disk was really idle and turned on without a reason).

Any suggestions?
