AC88U PLEASE HELP

VANGELI

New Around Here
Hi , I used to use a AC68u in router moude but connected my LTE modem into one of the lan ports to be able to use the QOS and parental functions.

I upgraded to AC88U and set it up the same but now on my app and web UI I cannot see the connected devices where I previously could with my 68u.

Is there a setting somewhere to change?????

please help

yes 3 times and also looked at web UI - same result. In AP mode I can see all users but cannot control time scheduling etc

So you are using LTE modem in ethernet mode - so an RJ45 connector? I would say connect the LTE modem into a computer and use the manufactures management application to confirm the settings. Additionally I would expect the to be connected to the WAN port. from the routers perspective I would imagine you have it set to DHCP mode?

the 88U's WAN is active and set to DHCP. The fibre modem(mikrotik) connects via cat6 to the ASUS lan port. I tried plugging into WAN port of ASUS but did not work. The modem is the DHCP server but like I said , my 68U in router mode worked fine like this and showed me all clients that I could control(just red led on showing no internet) but all worked.
The 88u works in router and AP mode but in router mode no clients are shown unlike the 68u.

I even tried disabling DHCP on modem but that ended up bad as well

you would rather have to disable DHCP on Asus, now you have 2 DHCP servers running and conflicting each other.

yes HHCP is disabled on ASUS. That not the problem. I have internet access but cannot see the connected devices (clients)

The DHCP server is the fibre modem(ISP installed) and ASUS DHCP disabled on lan and nothing is connected to WAN port

so basically it is acting like an AP but in router mode in order for me to use the parental functions and time scheduling
