My AC-68U has IP address 192.168.1.1, the usual subnet, and connects to internet via DSL modem Speedstream 5100 having IP 192.168.0.1, configured as a bridge. When everything is up and running, I can navigate from LAN to 192.168.0.1 and see modem's control panel webpage. But when the modem occasionally drops WAN connection, I can't see its control panel; instead I see router's page saying that it's trying to establish WAN connection. So I either powercycle the modem manually, or connect computer to it directly, then I see its control panel with the button "Restart modem".

I wonder, if there a way to see modem's page also when WAN is down? even better would be to have a script that would press the button on modem's control panel webpage.

Have you tried setting: WAN > Internet Connection > Redirect to error page = Never

See if that makes a difference.

Yes - thanks a lot. Though I found it under Administration-System-Enable WAN down browser redirect notice.

Ah OK. I have a different version of the firmware to you. :)

Did it solve your problem?
