ad blocking on the router

I finally got the router based version running.

Never could get the consolidated block host file to successfully save and remain after reboot on the router itself, and instead changed the script to write and read everything off a file folder created on a connected USB drive instead.

Log Entry: " Feb 22 21:54:20 dnsmasq[1577]: read /mnt/USBDrivename/adblock/hosts.blocked - 24096 addresses "

Still not sure the fused hosts.blocked file updating after every reboot, but I'm not linux smart enough to trouble shoot that part of the script... :(

I am already set User Agent and download will never complete.

Should be OK now,
b.t.w, there are some "hidden" additional resources which you can, also, use.
you are familiar with http://hosts.eladkarako.com/hosts.txt, well there is also
http://hosts.eladkarako.com/hosts0.txt in which the hosts are blocked using 0.0.0.0 prefix (and there are no "white" prefixes at all) which is useful if you do not use it for Android's AdAway application.

It is on my GitHub too (downloading it from there would probably be even faster!)
https://github.com/eladkarako/hosts.eladkarako.com
(you can download the raw file using:
https://github.com/eladkarako/hosts.eladkarako.com/raw/master/hosts.txt or https://github.com/eladkarako/hosts.eladkarako.com/raw/master/hosts0.txt)

enjoy.
