No, it's a limitation of the USB chipset.

You can see the 100% single core usage. Hence the limitation in the router.

If you decide to do this know the USBC connector orientation impacts the available speed. One way it’ll be USB 2 and you can’t get 2.5gb. The other way is obviously USB3 and that’ll pass 2.5gbe. I used to think USB C connector orientation didn’t matter.

Just note that using a USB-C to USB-A adapter - the devil is really in the details on connectivity across the pins...

End users shouldn't have to care about this, obviously...
