Additional USB wifi nic

My router is the RT-N66U - Asus.
I want to add an additional usb wifi nic.

I understand that i cant set up the additional nic through the GUI but thats ok i will set up this nic via ssh.

I have the latest Merlin build (374.42).

The question is what wifi drivers are availabe in the firmware and if there is a nic that works out of the box.

Not sure somebody else was interested before You may try to compile asuswrt-merlin, then go to kernel directory, run make menuconfig to find out which wi-fi drivers are available.

PS As for me, I'm using USB-LAN dongle as 5th LAN port.
