Indeed. It's a closed source Broadcom thing.

The issue is, the link brings a page with no NAT acceleration on/off:
(It was actually Auto and Disabled on older routers)

By "NAT acceleration" did you mean HW acceleration" as shown on the "Tools/Other Settings" page? And am I right in that using Cake would disable that?
I have in fact replaced FlexQoS with Cake and the HW acceleration option has disappeared, so would I be right in thinking that it is now disabled?
Having made the above changes, Ai Protection parental controls as now working properly, according to the tests I have made on my Android tablet.
