currently on the beta that supports aimesh 2.0 and i don't see a way of using separate wifi channels on the main router and the node.

Is it still the case for the current version of Aimesh that when using wired backhaul, different wifi channels cannot be used for the main router and nodes?

AiMesh shares the main router's settings.

It can't do what you want (today).

ok thanks much for confirming. Seems silly for all nodes to use the same channel since its not needed when using wireless backhaul. Grrr.

I raised this with Asus as a feature request a while ago. It would be especially useful if you have multiple clear channels on 2.4Ghz where bandwidth is particularly limited.
