No, it allows more control over the APs and can play with Tx power. Can't do this in AiMesh. Running different channels in a country with different Tx power regulations per band may create additional system balancing challenges. Related to this thread Wi-Fi advice is not numbers only and not every forum member is necessarily living in the US.
