Any tips to improve the stability of Airplay?

When using "Airfoil Server" (Win) to send to "Airfoil Speakers" (PC, Android) and native Airplay Hardware Devices. I get some dropped packets (not a big issues) but I then start to lose sync between some of the devices. Sometime I lose a player altogether and have to start/stop transmission in Airfoil to get the client back on line.

The developer of Airfoil (Rogue Amoeba) suggest that it is a prob with my Wifi setup. I'm not connived as a competitor prog (TuneBlade) keeps the sync even when packets are dropped.

Suggestions?

Thanks
Nathan

PS - My core switch is an HP 1910-24G (J9803A) that all devices (PC, Router, AP etc)...if that matters in the equation.

I have been struggling with this for the past couple of weeks. I'm running merlin 376.49_2 on an n66u.

I've manually selected channels that are the least busiest in my apartment block.

I checked checked "Optimized for Xbox" under wireless->general

I've changed these two settings found under the wireless->professional tab.
enabled "Enable IGMP Snooping"
disabled "Enable WMM APSD"

I think it's better, but not perfect. I just disabled the WMM this weekend so I'll see if that improves things during this week. If you have any other suggestions, I'd be more than willing to try, I can't stand it when the audio stutters or drops out completely.
