Any Chance for a GUI JFFS editor?

Brooks

New Around Here
I'd rather get a dumbed down version of editing JFFS sort of like dd-wrt has... they allow you to edit your scripts within the router setup. Rather than having to get putty and being completely lost on how to save edited scripts etc... It would be nice to just copy and paste the scripts then save them.. reboot and bam it works... I appreciate all the work you do, I appreciate the attention to detail and making sure everything works the first time. Anyway enough compliments I think you get the point.

Cheers,
Brooks

You're unlikely to get this feature: to quote part of Merlin's reply today to another feature request "... way beyond the scope of this project." However, have you come across WinSCP? I'm assuming you're Windows based. It does exactly what you want. You can then edit the files using Notepad++ and then ship them back. There are a couple of gotchas to do with file permissions, but it works.
