My question is: where can I get ratings, comparisons, or even impressions of wireless router stability, reliability, and/or longevity?

These Forums are a great resource for finding answers to questions or issues, regarding hardware and software.
I keep my RMerlin fw up to date, and have seen the majority of user issues reported are addressed by Asus or RMerlin in a timely manner. There have been routers that were desired, until early adopters (here & trusted reviewers) stated problems or lack of improvements over current offerings.
