Any thoughts on the "RipCurrent" Arris products for building a home network?

Is there anything special about the powerline implementation in these products? I cant find a lot of information on them but it looks like a router with built in powerline networking in a neat package with some access points over powerline as accessories.

we have seen this type of application before

what RipCurrent does with it is yet to be seen although all powerline has its limitations and is a replacement for basic wifi and will never be a replacement for ethernet
