Any Watchdog progress?

As far as i remember previous builds had broken watchdog functionality - so router didn't switch to usb modem in case if main line was down or didn't swich back when everything came back to norm.
I understand that it's Asus' fault and they broke it but still i reallu need this option..
My router is rt-n66u - any progress with watchdog functionality in recent builds or same problem? Thanx.

For me the watchdog is fixed in the latest merlin release

So now it works 100% as it should? It switches to usb modem when primary line is down and switches back when primary line is back to work?

I don't use a USB modem but it is working with my DSL and cable connections. I noticed a lot of the wording for the watchdog changed in the latest release.
