Well, it's progress at least. Two out of the three GPLs have the same level of openness as before, the third one still has the same one single closed file as in 20945 (however I can work around that one for now).

The interesting part will be once they release the GPLs for the models that had fully closed httpd in 20945 to see what is happening with these.
Thanks for another update. Which model still has the httpd closed?

No, it simply didn't crash in my tests on that model for some unknown reason. I suspect the ARMv8 wtfast build uses newer/more stable code.

Thanks for another update. Which model still has the httpd closed?

I don't know, since I only got three GPLs so far out of the 8 supported models.

I would like to move my ac3200 back from latest Asus stock to Merlin, but 2.4GHz-related problems are preventing this. If 384.6 alpha had good drivers for wifi I would like to try it.

I'm not even at the public alpha stage yet of that development cycle yet. It will happen when it happens...

About to dip into the 2nd alpha-1 update that properly merged 20942's httpd.

Quick question. Is 384.6_alpha1-g4284a1146 for RT-AC68U based on 20942?

Thanks.

RT-AC1900p
I have exactly the same problem that is described in this thread (link below) with this version, base on 20942

https://www.snbforums.com/threads/ac68u-lan-to-wifi-downlink-throughput-issue.46992/

Tested several times between 384.5 and 9.0.0.4_384_21071-ged7a196.trx (beta, working flawless since 2 weeks)
Same file, same channel, same distance, same devices ... factory reset(initialize) done also everytimes

Dont know now if i am going back to 384.5 or i am sticking with 9.0.0.4_384_21071-ged7a196.trx (beta).
Anyone noticed this ?
