I'm just playing around with the minimum RSSI setting on both the 2.4 and 5Ghz radios on my 2 routers. I have an AC66u running as the main router and then an N66U connection via MoCA in access point mode - both running 374.34_2 Merlin.

I've set the minimum RSSI to the default offering of -70, but when I look at the client list I see things like;

30:8C:FB:4F:19:F8 192.168.x.x ??/26 Mbps -30 dBm assoc auth
08:86:3B:6D:81:45 192.168.x.x ??/26 Mbps -80 dBm assoc auth
60:C5:47:36:F7:0F 192.168.x.x ??/65 Mbps 26 dBm assoc auth
30:8C:FB:4A:89:14 192.168.x.x 6/13 Mbps 64 dBm

Clearly the last 2 are pretty much on too of the router, but why hasn't the 2nd client in the list been kicked so it connects to the other AP?

I've been playing with it on and off but haven't came to any solid conclusions as of yet. I would be very interested in others findings however.
