Np! I updated just to see if this clears my dnsmasq issues let's see how it goes I will give a week. Thanks @NovaPrime !
I had been checking for Updates in my Windows PC/WebGUI but it did not indicate any were available.
Fired up the ASUS Mobile App on my Android Phone and it found it!
I'm going to hold off installing for a bit

I think merlin said asus hasn't given him the code for the 3.0.0.6 line to get started yet.Incredible, really, that it took more than a year to sort out critical issues for a flagship product - but still, kudos to Asus for sorting it out. Given how slow Merlin's FW development for WiFi 7 devices has been (not a critique, just an observation), it's more essential than ever that the stock firmware is solid.
Yep all apple house. Rock solid on iPhone iPad and macbook. And I am in ai mesh primary plus two nodes over wifi backhaul. This is good news. Are you guys testing the BQ16 Pros with nodes and iPhones? I’m so scared to change the APs to nodes.
Wow…. I can’t believe it’s finally fixed. I’m still going to wait another week just to make sure.Yep all apple house. Rock solid on iPhone iPad and macbook. And I am in ai mesh primary plus two nodes over wifi backhaul.
So I am 99% sure the dnsmasq version on the be30000 is currently bugged. In my system logs I have noticed the dnsmasq service crashing

Alright this new firmware i think solved my dns issues. Its been rock solid stable since it was installed no issues and even the wife is happy now. Only took asus half a dozen to get it here but I am happy.
5 days uptime and no more issues. I had to reboot prior to this update every day once to clear that up without me doing it manually.Sounds promising @NovaPrime!!! Are you seeing anymore dnsmasq service issues in your System Logs since updating to this latest version?
I did install it from application but only for main router. Cant install it for mesh units. Any advice?More info in this screenshot. It was available last night around midnight est for me. Interestingly it doesn't show release notes yet but it's installed.

How goes it are you still in AP mode or did you go for it and now AiMesh'd up with no issue with Apple devices?? I might get time soon to factory reset my 2 BQ16's and initialise into default AiMess mode!!Wow…. I can’t believe it’s finally fixed. I’m still going to wait another week just to make sure.
Yes, I'm still on Ap mode because with the pervious firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_36869 I tried enabling DNS Rebind protection and DNSSEC support. After a few days we lost internet access and it did not come back even after restarting the cable modem, so I decided to restart the router. After restarting the router all was well so I thought I needed to reset the router to factory defaults and it would work as intended. Nope, same result as before. We lost internet access after after a few days (wired and wireless). After installing the latest firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_36909 and @NovaPrime stating all was well with iPhones and nodes, I decided to enable DNS Rebind protection and DNSSEC support again. LOL, after 2 days no internet. So now I'm thinking there may be some issues with my ISP, or DNS Rebind protection and DNSSEC support does not work. After that experience there no way in hell I'm switching back to a node setup if AP's are working without any issues. Maybe after another factory reset it will work, but it's too soon. If you decide to switch back to a node setup, please let us know if all's well. Thanks. How goes it are you still in AP mode or did you go for it and now AiMesh'd up with no issue with Apple devices?? Hey heads up.. If you use cloudflare or quad9 and Google dns you don't need to turn on dnssec and dns rebind protection on the router. Those services do that already and the router isn't going to add anything more except for wasted cpu cycles. You can also check this on dnscheck.tools. I have attached a pic showing what I mean and I also use cloudflare and quad9.Yes, I'm still on Ap mode because with the pervious firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_36869 I tried enabling DNS Rebind protection and DNSSEC support.
