Having an issue with a brand new TP-Link Archer c9 v1 whereby the front panel Internet indicator lamp turns from blue to orange to indicate trouble with the Internet connection. There are corresponding "LED controller" messages recorded in the SYSLOG. There was some S/N ratio issues with the Cox Cisco DPQ3212 cable modem that were resolved. A new Cat5e cable was installed. A factory reset was performed and the firmware was flashed to the latest non-beta version. The problem still exists. In fact, when it's occurring, you can set your watch by it because it occurs in 10 minute increments. There are no indications of trouble on the modem nor does the desktop PC indicate a dropped Internet connection.
Therefore, the router will be returned. The question is, should we specify that we want a c9 v2 this time? Thanks.
