New Around Here
Hi Everyone, new guy here. I just purchased a AC3100 and put it in system. At first all seemed good and on my droid phones and putters I was able to see both the2.4GHz and 5GHz bands advertised on my devices and was able to select which one I connected to. However, now I'm only able to see the 2.4GHz advertised. Both bands have their SSID's broadcasting and each band has a WPA-PSK key. I rebooted the router today thinking somehow it was a glitch but after a reboot still the same. I don't see anything that would prevent the 5GHz from showing up on devices. I have a couple of SUHD TV (4K) that I want to use with the 5GHz band but when I setup the network setting on my Samsung TV all I see is the 2.4 SSIDI only see the 2.4 advertised. Any suggestions?

Thanks
BP

UPDATE: the 5GHz network is now appearing on my Samsung Smart TV's and my Android phones. It still doesn't show on my windows based computers, only the 2.4 GHz is listed. I'll keep working at it.

Make sure your network interface does support the 5 GHz band.
