I was hoping someone could offer some suggestions.
I have in the last week bought a Asus AC56u router. And I have a Roku 3. Like most I am wanting to use my Roku 3 to watch american netflix.
This is turning out to be a pain as all I want is this one device on my network to have the american DNS. I want the rest of the devices to have my British ISPs DNS.
So I have went and enabled static routes to allow me to block all of the Google DNSes that the Roku uses.
I have then went into the Parental controls to assing my USA DNS to the Roku.
However it just will not work. Opening up the Netflix app on the Roku just causes a network fail that it refuses to expand upon.
Is there something I am doing wrong. Or is it just not possible to assign a DNS for only one device on my network?
Thanks for any help anyone provides.
