Thank you for your answers and advice. Indeed I believe I understand that if reliability / stability is essential for me, then I must go for omada.
The asus could work correctly but we are on the red thread and we should not be afraid to restart it 2, 3 times a year.

Do you agree with my conclusion?

Your fourth problem/need is the amount of time/effort you need to spend to make it work and keep it running. This goes under the "cost" problem.

If you read Asus FAQ - Reset is recommended after every firmware update. If you call Asus Support - Reset is the first thing they'll make you do.

Most people don't do it, come here and ask for help in case of issues. Then SNB Forum members recommend Reset as universal solution.

Indeed, omada answers 2 points out of 3. And the problem of time, it's clear that I decided to change because I was fed up with disconnections

Okay, thanks. That's what I was afraid of.

I still have several questions for you:

1) Can we mix different brands of AP with the same SSIS but with different channels?

2) Will a 4x4 AP in 5Ghz reach further than a 2x2 in 5Ghz? Example with the EAP 610 (or 650), would it allow me to have the same speed for 1 client? Or does it also affect the range?

You can mix different brands APs with the same SSID and on the same channels.

Not guaranteed. Depends on radio sensitivity, antenna gain, radiation pattern, etc.

You don't have many 80MHz wide non-DFS channel options in EU.

For 2.4GHz you have channels 1-13 available, use 20MHz wide channel and select the one with more available bandwidth. If you have no tools to see which one - run your equipment on Auto for some time and see which one it picks more often. If you see most networks around on 1-6-11 - pick one from 1-6-11 to minimize the interference. With 2x APs only you can run the same or different channel, whatever works better in your environment.
