With my Asustor NAS I am trying to use my 2.5Mbs port with my AX6000. I have a cat8 cable connecting Asustor port to the 2.5 on the 6000. Asustor says the 2.5 port is connected correctly. On the main page of Merlin where the ports are listed the 2.5 light is green however a mouse over indicated it at a1Gbs. Is there a configuration for it? It is working at 1Gbs.

thanks

No issues here, working just fine and afaik there are no settings. Admittedly that's connected to a switch and not a NAS, but same same.

Have you tried a more regular CAT5e cable?

Mine looks identical. When you mouse over the port icon where the small blue icon is in the corner, what does it say?

Isn't that blue icon the WAN/Internet port?

Good idea, however, I am out of cables that long. I will have to order one.

Try a short cable to test if you can move the NAS temporaily.

Another thought... if the AX6000 lets you reassign the 2.5GbE port, maybe so and no longer connected to the NAS(?)

what does it say when you mouse over the top port with the blue marker in the right-hand lower corner above the line.
That's the WAN port. The discussion is about the 2.5Gb LAN port.

1 Gbps, since that's my WAN port and I only have 1 Gbps internet, so that's expected, as the ISP's router in the building doesn't have faster Ethernet ports.

If the NAS says the link is 2.5Gb, then the link is 2.5Gb - you might be seeing a UI bug on the Router...
